Ingredients
- Milk (cow, almond or oat): 250 ml

Lakadong turmeric: 1/2 teaspoon

Black pepper: 1 pinch (essential)
- Ghee or coconut oil: 1 teaspoon
- Crushed fresh ginger: 1 cm (optional, essential for good digestion)

Ground cinnamon or vanilla extract: 1/4 teaspoon
- Honey or maple syrup: 1 teaspoon
Instructions

In a small saucepan, warm the milk over medium heat (do not boil).

Add the turmeric, pepper, cinnamon, ginger and ghee (or coconut oil). Whisk well to avoid lumps.

Simmer gently for 2 to 3 minutes.

Pour into a cup and sweeten with honey to taste.
Tips
Black pepper is essential to activate the absorption of curcumin. Fresh ginger is optional but essential for good digestion. Ghee or coconut oil is an essential fat — curcumin is fat-soluble.
