10.1 - Nature of the service
Table Indienne offers travel advisory and planning services, distinct from travel agency activities as defined by the French Tourism Code.
Our service includes:
- Creating personalized itineraries
- Recommending local service providers (accommodations, guides, transportation)
- Assistance with administrative procedures (visa)
- On-site accompaniment for groups (from 10 people)
- Upon client mandate: booking and payment of services on their behalf (see article 10.3)

10.2 - Legal status
Table Indienne is not a travel agency within the meaning of articles L211-1 and following of the French Tourism Code. It is not registered with the travel operators registry maintained by Atout France and is not subject to the financial guarantee obligations of travel agencies.
Table Indienne acts as an agent within the meaning of articles 1984 and following of the French Civil Code when making bookings on behalf of the client.

10.3 - Booking mandate and disbursements
When the client cannot make bookings directly with local providers (accommodations, transportation, guides in India), they may mandate Table Indienne to make these bookings in their name and on their behalf.

Mandate conditions:
- The client signs a booking mandate before the trip
- Table Indienne acts as a transparent agent: it only executes the requested bookings
- Amounts advanced by Table Indienne constitute disbursements under article 267 II-2° of the French Tax Code
- These disbursements are rebilled at exact cost, without any margin or commission
- The client (or designated group representative) receives payment receipts from providers

Separate billing:
- Advisory fees: Table Indienne's compensation for planning and accompaniment work (subject to VAT)
- Disbursements: exact reimbursement of expenses incurred on behalf of the client (not subject to VAT)

10.4 - Group travel and representative
For group travel, participants may designate a group representative who:
- Signs the booking mandate on behalf of the group
- Receives global invoices from providers
- Collects funds from participants
The group representative acknowledges acting on behalf of all participants.

10.5 - Price transparency
Table Indienne commits to full transparency on costs:
- The quote separately details advisory fees and estimated travel expenses
- Provider prices are communicated to the client without markup
- A final accounting with receipts is provided after the trip

10.6 - Limitation of liability
As an agent and not a travel seller, Table Indienne cannot be held responsible for:
- The quality of services provided by providers (accommodations, transportation, guides)
- Delays, cancellations, or modifications imposed by providers
- Unforeseeable events (weather, strikes, political unrest, natural disasters)
- Health issues or accidents occurring during the trip

The client acknowledges having subscribed to travel insurance covering cancellation, repatriation, medical expenses, and civil liability abroad.

10.7 - Client obligations
The client remains responsible for:
- Obtaining their visa and verifying passport validity (minimum 6 months)
- Subscribing to appropriate travel insurance
- Complying with health and safety guidelines
- Payment of disbursements within agreed deadlines
